One comment... if the underbrush and such stays, which would be GREAT for us INF types that hate the open approaches now, I hope we are going to reduce the amount of SAPPERS. No one will be able to get near town/FB with a tank anymore.

I'd dump the "place the player on the map with GPS" paradigm period. For all units.

Have the map start with the player where he is. He can them update his position if he likes manually.

Some crewed units have navigators, and they could have periodic updating within some margin of error—a player could manually correct this as well.

Does the capping bar shift when one side has more numbers in the building than the enemy numbers?

Awesome Work Rats!

I take back some of the terrible things I have said about game progress over the last 5 years. I do think the passion is back!

Can the Rag Doll effects in some way eventually be used to give Aircraft a more dignified and realistic appearance when they crash?

I'd love to at some point see airplanes crash and explode into a fiery mass, throwing fireballs everywhere and killing anyone near, it would add more to the crashing process then just despawning.

It would make you think about where you're crashing.


Although I wouldn't expect this in 1.31

Why unity 3D version 1.5 and no 2? is there any new Unity update in the future to have version 2 with new terrain?

No, it will all end at v1.5… ;)

Of course they have plans and room for further development after 1.5. CRS isn't total n00bs in developing codes and numbering the programs they create.

If there wasn't any such plans whould they have called it v2.0.

it looks good but i think some of the ragdoll stuff could use tweaking.

that vid of the guy who gets shot and then slides down the roof... just looks weird. They all seem to completely crumple the instant they're shot... something's just a bit off is all

im not saying some of you guys are whinning herebut please bear in mind this is the first crack at the new engine updates, ragdoll/grafix/blood/SFX will be tweaked and more complex right now lets just party that this stuff is now possible for the engine to run in the first place :)

This will make defense of towns soooo much more interesting, with all the pillboxes and barriers, it might become more than a bunch of infantry and tanks shooting on a (varying) 500m radius of buildings... the battle can spread out a bit more maybe

I'm really digging the rain effect, but the lighting strike I hear (and it is a lightning strike, it cracks not just rumbles) is kind of weird when you don't see any sky light up. Doesn't even need to be a lightning bolt, just the clouds lighting up in places.

With 1.31, will all towns suffer a major change? I mean, different depot disposition, different streets and so on?

Will fb also change? Cause i believe lots of players know how to cliper into inf tents to sap it fast and some still use it. Would be good to see it redone, mayeb wider and with trench styles and different places to sap... till someone decide to change the fb system, of course :-)

There have been no major changes to the layouts of towns/cities although the replacement of some older buildings will mean some differences.

There are no changes slated to FBs for 1.31.

As I posted earlier, the entirety of what's planned for 1.31 is listed in the preview. More features and changes will come after.
