I'd defiantly lean towards a i7 instead of a i5 series.
the i5~750 Series is still significantly slower then the Phenom II 965, which can be had for the same exact price.
but the i5-760...

if you watch a plane fly over at 30fps it looks studder-e
watch it fly at 60fps and its pretty smooth
watch it fly at 120fps and its crystal smooth.

Giant pop up blocks 3/4 of the homepage?
the support ad that pops up with the infantry soldiers is so large i physically can't use the front page of the website on my netbook with a 10" screen.

thats usually means that theres a non bootable disc in the DVD/CD rom and you've got your CD-rom has the 1st device in the boot list.
or your device boot priority got changed after the outlet...

I can't remember if its Crossfire or SLi that the link bridge needs to be oriented in a certain direction, but you could always try and reverse it and see what happens, it wont physically hurt it.

have to remember that theres a big performance difference between a athlon 64 3.0Ghz processor, and a Athlon II 64 3.0Ghz processors, new instruction sets, smaller die size and if i remember right...

is it a desktop or a laptop? if its a desktop a Athlon 64 X2 6000+ can be had for little as 40$ online. and thats a 3.1Ghz...
